DL360 Gen8 upgrade to 12G SAS/SATA needed and if yes possible?

Hi,

we are thinking about whether an operation of 12 SSDs in a DL360 Gen8 will lead to the limits of backplain performance. And if so, is there a way to bypass this by HW exchange / upgrade?

I would be grateful if someone would know about this and share his knowledge :)

Upgrade the DL360e or p Gen8 to DL360 Gen10.
This is how it works ... ;-)

You cannot simply mount some new parts into an old server and expect new systems performance ...
