DL360 Gen9 boot order lost after system ROM update
In the last days we updated the system ROM of some DL360Gen9 to the latest version. After the reboot to activate the new version the servers always changed the boot order and the disk controller is last in the list instead of first.
Is there a cause for this behaviour?
Have anyone else seen this issue?
The systems are all with ESX6.0u2 and the update was done using the update package CP030351 for vmware online update. The servers are all with an P440ar controller for the hard disks.
Tests with the update done by a boot from SPP2016.10 iso shows same effect.
Thanks in advance!
