DL360 (Original model) and Current DL360 Rails

I have some old DL360's that I want to add rails and am wondering if the chassis is the same for all the DL360 family.

I know that they have different SKU's, but wondered if this is just for accounting purposes etc, or if there are important physical diffreences between the kits.

Basically I would like to pick up some cheap DL360 rails off of eBay and wanted to know if I really need to search for the DL360 Original model rails, or if I can get any DL360 rails.

Can anyone help clear this up for me?

Gary would be best if you can provide generation Models, there is difference between Older and Newer, screws with orders or snap on with latest. What Generation you plan to use?

These are the Original DL360's. The do not have generation numbers such as G2, G3 etc.

As such that is why I am checking to see if the rails are compatible between the models.

If same Model and Generation, Chassis would be identical and same rails will be used. However Rails divided for: fixed, sliding and for Third Party Racks.

Newer Rails for G3 or G4 won't be Compatible to Older DL360 (or wise versa)

My question isn't so much on generation on which rails I need. I have a third party 2 post rack (what the current equipment is in) and was sent 2 of the DL360 (G3) and a TFT5600. I need to get these mounted but the rails I recieved are for a four post rack. So I am trying to find which rails are for a 2 post rack. I was lookin for info on these 173845-001 but still am unsure. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

The rack you're describing is a "telco" rack. The different generations will require different part numbers:

G1 Telco Rack Option 174576-B21
G2 Telco Rack Option 251243-B21
G3 Telco Rack Option 251243-B21
TFT5600 Input Device Telco Rail 287138-B21
