DL360 Rebooting Issues

Greetings:

We have a DL360 that seems to be having some problems. Approximately every 2 weeks, this box will just stop responding, and will need to be rebooted. It is running Red Hat AS 2.1, and I don't see anything in the error logs that would give a clue as to what is going on, and I am not sure what diagnostics I can run to try and pin this down.

We've had problems in the past with the fan quieting software causing spontaneous reboots (hpasm), but when I bring the server up, I turn that software off, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

Re: DL360 Rebooting Issues

Hi James

Use System Insight manager to diagnose intermittent problems. You can download free for linux from following link
