DL360 and DL380 Dual Power Supply Design
When two power supplies are installed in the DL 360\380servers, do the power supplies share power equally between the two or is there a static switch that switches from one power supply to the other in the event of a branch circuit or power supply failure? I am asking so that I can load the rack PDU appropriately and not exceedt he rated capacity. Thanks

Re: DL360 and DL380 Dual Power Supply Design
When the additional hot plug power supply is intalled they start load balancing the charge, meaning that each one of them will provide half of the total power the server needs, and when one of them fails the other one kicks in inmediatedly.
You heve a question... I have an aswer!!!
