DL360 boot problem
Hello
I switch on the server and it start its initilization ( spinning disk ..etc ), start to boot for example from the CD and power down by hilself. It s not the install as it's only 10 or 15 sec after the begining of install and it occurs as well when I start from a floppy
Any idea ?
( maybe a clue : I forgot one time to put the iron cooler on the cpu and i noticed that the server just start and stop without displaying the bios infos. Is there any security thing which can protect the cpu as the cooler seems not to be the original ones ? )
Thanks in advance !!!

Re: DL360 boot problem
ok, but before bying the cooler, I want to be sure that the reason of the stop is this bad cooler. You confirm that the DL320 stops when the cooler is not correct ( so I guess, when the temperature is too high ? )
What is the exact reason ?
thanks

Re: DL360 boot problem
The problem is solved. It was a temperature problem. I put some thermic paste and everything runs !!
