DL360 migration

I need to migrate an old DL360 G1 server to a G3 server. The drives right now are mirrored, so I have been trying to migrate by pulling one drive, and then sticking it into a G2 and G3 server. In each case, the boot process gets as far as the first Windows 2003 black screen (with progress bar at the bottom) and then immediately I get the blue screen (BSOD). I'm not sure if the problem is with Windows or an HP hardware difference. Does anyone know of a utility tool, or method for migrating a HDD that runs on a DL360 G1 to a DL360 G3?
