Re: DL360 new cpu problem
You need to order Spare Part Number: 203524-001 - Intel Pentium III processor - 866MHz (Coppermine, 133MHz front side bus, 256KB Level-2 cache, FC-PGA) - Includes heat sink

Re: DL360 new cpu problem
What i can suggest is boot the bos with old processor. Clear the configuration using the switch settings.
Then make the 4 switch to on position and then try to flash the bios.
-------------------------------------
System Configuration Switch (SW2)
Switch Description Default Position
1 Video disable override off
2 Lock configuration Off
3 Rack mount On
4 Diskette drive boot override Off
5 Password disable Off
6 Maintenance Off

Prashant S.

Re: DL360 new cpu problem
AS long as you can boot off the original cpu , i would suggest updating your BIOS and then try and boot from the new CPU.
