DL360G3 Firmware Update SmartArray Raid 5i

Hello,
after Update Firmware for the SmartArray 5i Controller (with Smartstart 6.4 + 2 Hardisk 36GB-RAID1) the System describe following fault:
1713-Slot 0 Drive Array Controller Redundant Reprogramming Failure!
Whats this?
I've tested follwing: delete complete NVRAM - erase complete with Compaq System Erase Utility - reprogramming with SmartStart, delete copmplete Array and, and ...!
I don't know, how to change the redudant ROM by Smart Array 5i or solve the Problem.
Thanks for your help.

Re: DL360G3 Firmware Update SmartArray Raid 5i

Dietmar:
This error comes about when you have a flash update that either fails or if the bios becomes corrupted. You should try to flash the controller again. Here is a link to the bios update if you need it: http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/download/20142.html

That said, if the flash still does not take, you should call HP and get it replaced under warranty.
Enjoy!

Hello John,
i've tested to write a new Firmware.
Nothing changed - same fault.
Now i've changed the complete Systemboard
and it's looking good.
Thanks for your help.
