Ok please go easy......system board has been changed and now the lights out does not work, what is the correct config method after a board change.

ok many thanks....I was not there when the board was changed...we have a hardware contract....does changing the bord normally throw up this prolem?

No problem here, just fact that ILO resided on system board and ILO "default" password generated by using server serial number defined on system board. When system board changed you have "new" ILO, new ILO password (and you lost ILO logs from previous system board)
