DL360G4, External health LED is red

Hello together

I have 2 power supply, i have changed them, i have plug the 1. then the 2. power cord! nothing change! server is always runnig an the LED isr always red!

Can you help me

Power off the server. Remover one power supply. Then power on with a single power supply. If it is not o.k. again try the same process with other power supply. If same problem appears you may need to check the input AC power to the server.

I have tried this allready! Nothing change!
I think both Power supply are ok! An the AC Input is ok to? Any idea?

Hello,

Have you checked the LED status on the systemboard.Breakfix issue to resolve

Yes i have checked the onboard leds! they are all green!

Hello,

Try replacing the power converter module check for bent pins are cables seated correctly are any of the internal LEDS on.
Firmware up to date.

I made the firmware upgrade! is now 06/01/2005! But the same failure! LED is allready red! Next Monday a HP Partner comes to replace the power converter! Will see...

Good Luck,

May be a idea to bring a system board with him.This way you will eliminate both at the same time.

Hi,
Is it a new server, if it is have you made sure the switch to enable support for the second power supply is in the correct place, also make sure the bonding with the drive cage and the daughterboard is secure, this often comes loose in transit.
