Can't really say I know if it'll work or not, but I'm at a big financial firm and we use seperate images for our DL360G4 servers and DL360G4p servers.

Hi Andrew,

there is HW difference and you shouldn't do that for security reasons.
I didn't do that but if you are interested i suggested you to try this only in test phase, but you never know when problem will come out.
So, my answer is, NO, don't do that!
