DL360e Gen8 Power Fault Error (Error Decoding?)
Hello.
Out of nowhere the server does not power up.
Health Led flashing Red very fast.
ILO log shows
System Power Fault Detected (XR: 20 A2 MID: FF 3D 9E 31 F8 F0 00 10 10 00 41 3F 00 00 00 00 9E 00 F0 0F F0 13 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)
I don't have any spare parts available cause this is my server for home lab and study and if somenoe could please decode the error in order to know which part i should change.
Thank you.
Tried removing HDD / SAS cables did not work.
Removed Ram alternatively also did not work.
I have only 1 PSU . But the server has power (ILO working and startup sequence begins until Red Health)
Thank you for your tim.e
Hope it's just the Power Supply and not the mainboard

Re: DL360e Gen8 Power Fault Error (Error Decoding?)
Hi,
I cannot decode that error message, but here is an advisory which refers to similar error for Gen8 server, see if this helps.

Re: DL360e Gen8 Power Fault Error (Error Decoding?)
Hello,
You can also try clearing the NVRAM/ CMOS settings and check.
Procedure:
Step1: Remove all power supplies from the server,
Step2: Locate the System Maintenance Switch on the motherboard - It's a set of 10 DIP switches
Step3: Turn switch #6 switch on. (S6)
Step4: Insert all power supply units.
Step5: Power on the server and allow it to idle for 3 minutes.
Step6: Power the server off.
Step7: Remove all power supplies.
Step8: Return DIP switch #6 to off (original) position.
Step9: Reinsert the power supplies.
Step10: Power the server on.
