DL360p G8 and W2K12r2 issues
Hello to all,
Have built a pair of DL360p G8 with W2k12r2 and then added the Nov1 supplimental SPP for w2k12r2.
We're seeing a couple of issues so far:
Windows Event Viewer is claiming event id 153 warnings and id 11 errors for disk but not seeing anything from the iLO4.
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1.
The IO operation at logical block address for Disk \Device\00000038 (PDO name: ) was retried.
The SMH won't launch. Not sure if that's just the way it is with this rev and w2k12r2/IE11 or something else?
Anyone else seen this or other issues?
Thanks
G.

Re: DL360p G8 and W2K12r2 issues
You may try by updating the HP ProLiant Smart Array HPCISSS2 Controller Driver for Windows Server 2012 x64. Refer to the advisory that details a possible blue screen event.
Alternatively, you may try the HPCISSS3. This is available at this link.

Re: DL360p G8 and W2K12r2 issues
Thanks for the reply.
We've got 62.24.4.64 on the servers and getting the error mentioned above with it. It doesn't sound like we would want to upgrade to 62.26.0.64 at this time based on the mentioned advisory.
What is the difference between HPCISSS2 and 3?
SMH started working so that's no longer an issue.
Thanks
G.
