Hi all,
my DL360p remains at 39% FAN Speed, while another one (also a DL360p - even a more powerful one) goes down to 19% - I would like to know the reason for the higher FAN Speed and how to regulate it down.
Steps I tried:
- Installation of latest BIOS
- Installation of latest Firmwares available (iLO)
- Installation of latest WIndows Updates
- Installation of latest HP Management Software via SUM
- Performing iLO factory reset
The iLO logs do not show any issues and the temperatures are nearly the same...
Any idea?
Cheers,
Matthias

Do you have any 3rd party PCIe devices installed?
Which disk controller are you using?
Is Enhanced Cooling enabled in RBSU?

Re: DL360p - reason for high FAN speed
YOU are my hero.....
There was a HPE NC365T Card installed and since I removed this card all FANS are running 19% - beautiful!
THANKS!
Cheers,
Matthias
