DL365 G5 with USB 3.0
i am trying to put a USB 3.0 Card PCIe into a DL365 G5.
When I install the card the Operating System ( windows 2003 Server ) hangs up.
Is there a known incompatibility depending this Server and the Card?
Greets

Re: DL365 G5 with USB 3.0
Well, the only cards supported/tested are the ones in the quickspecs.
Did you try more than one PCIe slot? Maybe the USB 3.0 requires a specific amount of lanes?
Have you looked in BIOS? Maybe this card requires something special/or something that is not set by default on the HP server?

Re: DL365 G5 with USB 3.0
thanks replay, but there is nothing to set in BIOS, and yes I had tested it on both PCIe slots.
But it is bot working, I tried two different USB 3.0 Cards, both have the same chip, and both are not working.
Maybe incompability with the Board?

Re: DL365 G5 with USB 3.0
Have you checked if maybe there is a firmware update to the BIOS on your server that might fix this?
