DL370 G6 - Dual CPUs - CPU Failover if 1 CPU fails?

Hi,

If services/applications are not configured to use specific CPU's, will the server failover to the working CPU without memory dump & reboot if 1 CPU fails?

thats not possible, if your CPU is failed it will automaticaly reboot the sevrer something like if you cut the power cable.

A Proliant will reboot (ASR). Disable the bad CPU, and log an entry in the IML.
Then continue running.

Only exception is, if the primary cpu fail.
It will reboot, disable the CPU.
But there's must be an oprative primary CPU for the system to work.
= Its down, untill CPU has been replaced, and IML has been cleared.
