DL370 G6 stalling
Hi all,
I have the above server with P410i - 512MB / 8x144GB SAS in RAID 5+Spare, 32GB RAM, RPSU.
I have a massive problem with a fairly large installation. The server is simply stalling with SBS 2011 STD installed. We have removed all third party software now and there are no indications that it is the O/S.
The disks seem to go mental for about a minute before the whole system grinds to a halt. After 10-20 minutes it comes back and is completely normal.
I am thinking there has to be a problem with the disks / array controller but thought I would post on here first.
Has anyone seen this before? I have noticed that the caching is disabled on Read/Write and Drives - could this make any difference?
Many thanks in advance for any pointers.
M

Re: DL370 G6 stalling
there is a SS8.7 64bit version you can use.
