DL380 1Ghz installation of Windows 2003 hangs

I'm installing Windows 2003 on a DL380 G1 (P17). Have done the Rom Bios upgrade. In Rom Bios the OS is set to "Other". The system hangs in Windows Setup with message: "Setup is starting Windows". Any suggestions?

try to install with another O.S. media, another O.S. like W2K, etc...

Are you installing with SmartStart?

I already tried "NT" but that didn't change anything. W2K is not in the options list.

Have you tried to install that O.S. media over other machine?
Your DL380 G1, have the minimal requirements: memory, processor?

You need to follow the Manual Install Procedure, clearing the system, reconfigure, and install with the required drivers.

I also am attempting to install Server 2003 on a DL380 G1 and am getting the same error. I have updated the BIOS and the Array driver but it made no difference. Have you resolved the issue yet?
