DL380 6i Array Controller issue

We got a new DL380 G4 Server with 6 300 GB hard drives connected to internal 6i Array Controller.

When booted the server with Smartstart 7.4 its wasn't recognising the controller card & I was not able to configure the array to build the server any further.

The Bios Version was 2005.10.10 & 6i Array Controller firmware version was 2.58 which were one version less the latest released version.

Thanks to HP Technical Helpdesk person, he asked me to upgrade the Bios on the server to 2006.04.26 & then boot the machine with Smartstart 7.4, this time it was much faster & also recognised the controller.

Right now the server is running perfectly alright.
