DL380 BIOS - NIC's disabled ???

Hi,

Quick question here ... I have just had a motherboard replaced on a dl380.

Ever since then my NIC's are disabled in the BIOS and I have no idea of how to enable them ...

Any help ?

Re: DL380 BIOS - NIC's disabled ???

Hi,

Sorry for the lack of info ...

DL380 G4
I have cleared up the NVRAM and still no success.

We had a power failure and the motherboard was replaced.

In the BIOS it says that the NIC's are disabled and they do not show up in the list of PCI devices.

These are the 2 onboard NIC's.

Where you see them as disabled? Any additional PCI card to conflict with ?
If they not present under PCI ├в probably you should replace system board once again

Re: DL380 BIOS - NIC's disabled ???

Hi,

We had a similar problem on a DL360G4 recently where one of the two onboard NICs was showing as disabled.

This was resolved by swapping the system board.

It does sound as if you might need another board replacement...

Cheers,
