Received a corrupt checksum error when flashing a DL380 G3 with the latest firmware. Server boots fine from backup rom, but how do I go about fixing the primary rom? Once the server is up it regards the backup rom as primary, so any subsequent attempt at flashing would be at risk of corrupting this rom as well. I cannot find any explanation of the procedure for flashing the non-boot rom.
Have had no problems upgrading other DL380 G3s - no idea why this failed in the first place.

Solution
To get a good ROM on both you need to "Flash It Again"
When you flash the system ROM, ROMPaq writes over the backup ROM and saves the current ROM as a backup, enabling you to switch easily to the alternate ROM version if the new ROM becomes corrupted for any reason. This feature protects the existing ROM version, even if you experience a power failure while flashing the ROM.
Be sure you use a good diskette for the ROM!

Re: DL380 Corrupt primary BIOS
If both the current and backup versions of the ROM are corrupt, the server automatically enters ROMPaq disaster recovery mode ("ROMPaq Disaster Recovery" on page 139).
