DL380 D2, installing standard rails into rack.
I am trying to get this server up on the rack, but I cannont remove the server rail from the standard rail, can anyone instruct me how to do this.

There is usually a release tab (a small metal flap) on the outside of the rail that you press.
First pull the rail out as far as it will go and then look on the back side (outside) of the rail and press the tab.

Only tab I can find is the one that makes the rail slide back into the standard rail, i've been fooling with this thign for about 2 hours now, i'm going to go crazy.

Have you removed/detached the cable management arm?
As TTr write.
Pull out untill it stops.
Press the locks on both sides.
There's at lest 2 version of locks.
Version 1: A metal blade, you press in towards the server, while holding in, pull out the server.
Version2: There's a plastic tap (Triangle, white or bule), at the end of the rack rail. It has to be pressed down or up, then hold and pull.
I will recommend two persons to do this.
