DL380 E200 4x72GB only has 136GB
Why am I only getting 136 GB with the E200 controller? I should have 200GB.

Re: DL380 E200 4x72GB only has 136GB
Hi David,
The E200 supports Raid 0, Raid 1+0 standard.
Raid 5 is optional and available only with the addition of the 128Mb BBWC module.
So you may only be able to create Raid 1+0 arrays which will restrict the capacity.
Please see the E200 information here.

I hope this helps.

Re: DL380 E200 4x72GB only has 136GB
Thanks.
I got the 128MB cache card. Using the hp array config util, delete raid 0 and create raid 5. It has been over 20 hours. It is still going.
How long does it take to change to raid 5.

I think by default the expand priority is set to low. You will find changing this to medium should make it finish quicker. You can set it to high also but this will impact on the performance of your server if it is doing anything else.
