DL380-G1 red light in SCSI Cage

Hi
The bottom slot of the 4 drive cage on the DL380R01-G1 is showing a red light and will not work with a Hot Plug disk yet the other slots will work ok.

Any ideas what is wrong?

Have you tried with more than one hot plug disk?
If yes and the problem stil persist I would say that something is wrong with your disk cage.

The red light comes on immediately the power is applied without any disks being present.

Check cables, try without SCSI cable plugged in, swap drives, just enable power to the cage, no SCSI cable. What's the results?

Backplane is faulty, replace it.
