DL380 G2 Drive Array Recovery Needed
Hi
my dl380 recently blue screened when it came back up it reported a number of
POST Error 1775 Storage System not responding
POST 1785 Drive Array Not Configured
POST 1786 Drive Array Recovery Needed
I have two Logical drives and now one of them has a status of Ready FOR Rebuild
However done of the physical disks report any problems so how do i clear this error.
I have run the Compaq Array Config util and it tells me the Array is rebuilding but there is no status indication so i do not believe a rebuild is taking place.
Any ideas or word of wisdom ?

Re: DL380 G2 Drive Array Recovery Needed
Hello Dave,
I have seen this error message on DL380 G2 when you have SA5300 and 5i controllers. The probable cause usually is the LVD cable connecting the drives to the 5300 controller. With the cable connected to the 5i, however, the error would go away.
If that is the case then please replace the LVD cable.
Cheers,

Re: DL380 G2 Drive Array Recovery Needed
Hello Dave,
You may want to replace the SCSI cable from the Misc Cable Kit Spare part No 228517-001 and the backplane Board Spare P/N 228502-001.
I hope this helps.
