DL380 G2 : Randomly STOP : 0x00000050
Hi,
We have a DL380 G2 server (OS : Win2000 Sp4. We use it as File and Print server. We also use it as Terminal server for administration purpose, SQL Server,Backup Exec 8.x, DFS,IIS, Antivirus : Mac Afee VirusScan.
For 3 weeks, it crash and generate some errors in "Compaq Integrated Management Log Viewer":
1st Event logged but nothing in Windows System Event viewer : Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x00000050 (0xA235AC3E,0x00000000,0xA0152363,0x00000001))
He automaticaly restart and Stop again (after I try to log in) :
2nd Event : ASR Detected by System ROM
3rd Event, logged also in Windows System Event Viewer and Dump to memory.dmp : Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005,0xA00031CB,0x00000000,0x00000013))
Then when he finished his dump, I restart the server, and all seems to be OK until the next crash.
Can someone help me ?
Thanks
Parthena

Re: DL380 G2 : Randomly STOP : 0x00000050
There are several documents on the Microsoft site that will help.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/en-us/default.asp?url=/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/en-us/prork/prhd_exe_duol.asp and
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/en-us/default.asp?url=/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/en-us/prork/prhd_exe_bddb.asp
If this document does not exactly match, I could suggest searching microsoft.com further.
Tweak this search for more:

Re: DL380 G2 : Randomly STOP : 0x00000050
The problem is solved !
My colleague had remember that he had modified the screen resolution of the server
Thus, we changed the resolution of the screen from 1024 to 800 pixels and since then we don't have any more Blue Screen trap
Thanks
