DL380 G2 Smart Array 5i+ changing boot order between multiple arrays
We had the previous configuration of hard disks:
CH0: 36 GB
CH1: 36 GB
These two drives are assingned as Array1 in RAID1, booting perfectly a Win2000 Server.
New config:
those two disks above AND
CH2: 146 GB
CH3: 146 GB
CH4: 146 GB
After installing the disks we ran the ACU in Windows and created Array2 in RAID5.
Array2 is working correcly, i can see it under the OS too, but i dont know how the change the boot order.
I searched to change the boot order from Array1 to Array2, but i didnt found it.
I took a boot with SmartStart CD v 7.5.1, and i also did not found it.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Andrew

Re: DL380 G2 Smart Array 5i+ changing boot order between multiple arrays
hi
why do you want to change that?
I mean from Array 1 to Array 2
are you having problems?
smart array controller always will boot from Array A... the only option you have is in RBSU (BIOS)
