DL380 G2 - U320 HBA - SLES 10 sp2

I have an issue where our dl380 during post does not see a ultrium 960 1/8 autoloader. During post I see "MPT ROM no supported devices found".

If I boot into SLES and scan for new devices, the autoloader is found.

The ROM version show 5.05.21 LSI Logic.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tracy

Re: DL380 G2 - U320 HBA - SLES 10 sp2

Hi,

POST error message: "MPT Boot ROM, No Supported Devices Found"

Cause: There are no bootable devices connected to the SCSI controller (like a tape drive).

Workaround: This is not an error message, this message is normal if there are no bootable devices attached to the LSI SCSI controller. The message will appear on boot if there are no devices attached to the controller, or if non-bootable devices are attached (like a tape drive).

I work for HPE.
