DL380 G2 keyboard port disabled after reboot
Hi,
I have a DL380 G2 running Windows 2000 Server SP3 and the latest System Rompaq.
When I reboot the server remotely (via terminal services in remote administration mode) without a keyboard plugged in, I find when I next try to use the server from the console that the keyboard isn't working.
Any ideas?
Regards
Rik

Re: DL380 G2 keyboard port disabled after reboot
So your plugging in the keyboard after the server is already running?

Yes, I am plugging the keyboard in after the reboot.
This is something that happens frequently within the environment I work in.

Re: DL380 G2 keyboard port disabled after reboot
So I'm guessing your getting a 301 Keyboard error on bootup. I just tried doing this on my DL380G2 (but it has nt4 on it now). When I plugged in my keyboard, it came right to life. I'll try to get 2k on there and see what happens.
