Hello. Please, I own an old proliant DL380 G2 server, and trying to get in RBSU by pressing F9 key when promped, I take the error message "password overide switch is on". How can I dissable it? Is there a switch onboard that I can't find, because only the system maintance switch I can see.
Also, is it possible to be locked by any other way, may be remotely by iLO or something like that?
Thank you.

Re: DL380 G2 password overide switch
Hello,
Good Day !!!
You can disable the password from System Maintenance.
Or you can follow the below link.

Re: DL380 G2 password overide switch
Done, setting the switch No6=off, got error message again and system stop booting:
PCI BUS Parity Error PCI SLOT 03
Could it have a pci card for management, through iLO, and after locking the system, the card have been removed? Asking that because I took the server in used condition, pulled out from a company that closed, so I wonder if somebody removed a PCI card.
Thank you for yor time, anyway.

SolutionFinally I found the solution myself by trying one by one to 6 different positions on main switch.
The possition No5 must be to "ON", even thought no password has been made.
After doing that I can boot to RBSU by pressing the F9 on booting when the choice appears on screen with other.
Anyway thank a lot.
