DL380 G2
The server runs Windoows 2000 advanced server
with SP4 installed.The server will operate normally a short period a few hours or sometimes a few minutes and then just reboot and show a critical error at boot.Has anybody had this problem.

See if there are any entries in the Integrated Management Log (IML) using the viewer.
Start-Programs-Compaq (or HP) System Tools-IML viewer. This will identify any serious hardware problems like memory/cpu etc.
Also look at the Survey report C:\COMPAQ\SURVEY\SURVEY.TXT. The IML data is embedded in this file. If you can, please attach the survey.txt file in your reply on this forum and it can be checked for problems including any device firmware issues etc.
