Hello,
Every time I start the array configuration utility all my drives in the external storage begin flashing. The status message reads, the background parity initialization has been queued/started performance will improve when finish. Is there something I need to do at this point? Thank you.

Hi,
When you start Array Configuration Utility,All lights begin flashing,It is normal, don't worry,
In regard to status message,as long as you configure HD with RAID 4/5,ACU will display this message and disappear after background parity initialization finish.
Regards

Re: DL380 G3-Background parity initialization
Thank you for your quick reply. One last question how long does it usually take the parity initialization to finish? I have six 72.8 GB installed in the external storage.
Thank you.
Thank you.
