DL380 G3 Fatal System Error & Memory Parity Error
Dear Gurus,
I have one HP Proliant DL380 G3 server that just went off. After restarting, I noticed two blue screen errors that appeared one after the other. This first error message is: c000021a (Fatal System Error) which last for few seconds followed by this blue screen error: Hardware Malfunction, "Check your hardware vendor for support." "Parity check/Memory Parity Error." The system has halted. I have used "Last Known Good, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Command Prompt, Swapped Memory, Pressed the NMI switch on the motherboard, checked and re-fix-in the processors (cuz i have two), taken out and refix the riser card and disabled Hyper Threading in the bios but all to no avail. Can anyone help me out??? P/S: I have Windows 2000 Server running on this server with Oracle too.

Knowledge is vital but knowledge without understanding is nothing.

Re: DL380 G3 Fatal System Error & Memory Parity Error
Hi,
Make sure you have the latest firmware and PSP.
Check these MS KB articles.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/222973
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330303
You can also find many related threads with useful hints that will help you to zero in on the issue, if you search in itrc.
Regards,
Shiraj

Re: DL380 G3 Fatal System Error & Memory Parity Error
Dear,
As MY Knowladge its memory issue.
Check your Memory modules by Swaping one by one....
If memories are ok then suspected problem with your memory slots on motherboard.

TRS
