DL380-G3 NC7781 integrated NIC Line Speed/Duplex Choices
What do I need to do to get the proper choices.
I have updated to the latest drivers 6.64.0.0 dated 5/21/2003. We are running W2K with SP4 and all current patches.
Thanks,
Lane

Re: DL380-G3 NC7781 integrated NIC Line Speed/Duplex Choices
You should find the 1000 setting if you try to configure your NC7781 using the HP Teaming utility ( which is the prefered tool for configuring HP NICS ) instead of the Windows Network properties.
Let me know if it helps

Re: DL380-G3 NC7781 integrated NIC Line Speed/Duplex Choices
I've noticed the same thing. The Windows Networking only goes up to 100/Full, while the Teaming utility goes all the way to 1000/Full.
Does that depend on whether the NIC is plugged into a 10/100 port? I'll have to check this out, we do have Gig copper ports, but haven't seen this before.

Re: DL380-G3 NC7781 integrated NIC Line Speed/Duplex Choices
I am not sure but I think this is because the driver is linked to the teaming utility ( but I am not 100% sure )
