Could I first ask you why you would want to set your adapter to 1000HD?
are you connected to a hub or something?

Because Clipper application.
10FD, 100FD, 1000FD generate "Unrecoverable error 410,415,416"
10HD, 100HD works fine.

Re: DL380-G3 NC7781 integrated Speed/Duplex on Netware 6 SBS
Q57 Does not support 1000HD. It's either 100FD/HD, or 1000FD you'll need to choose from. Setting your switch to an unsupported speed/duplex mode will prevent you from connecting. This is normal behaviour for the NC7781.
