DL380 G3 Networking Issues
We are running 7 dl380 g3 servers (Win2kSrv). They are all configured the same with Dual NICS running at 1000 MB/S (Teamed for load balancing) One of the servers is experiencing intermittent connectivity. Tried removing autonegotiations, tried replacing cat5 cables, tried using different ports on the switch (HP4108gl). Running ping -t shows that indeed the connection times out every 10 or so pings. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Re: DL380 G3 Networking Issues
Hi Rick,
We were having the same problems with out DL380 g3 (Netware 6) HP had notified us that there are some hardware issues with the onboard NIC. We are currently waiting to get the effected hardware replaced.

Re: DL380 G3 Networking Issues
Thanks for the info. We have noticed one difference on the affected server. We are using different Cat 5 cables. The affected server is using Wesco Cat5e, while the other servers are using Blackbox Cat5e. We will do a swap today and see what the results are.

Re: DL380 G3 Networking Issues
Did you cure the problem as I have the same issue at present and have tried all sorts of solutions but not succeeded!
