DL380 G3 Restarting During Redhat4 AS Installation

Hi,

Ive not been able to install the Redhat4 AS in the Server.The Installation hangs during installing files in the 2nd Cd,

I Tried all other possiblities like Using similar Cd,Erasing using smartstart and reinstalling.Server has updated with all the firmwares.

Am I missing anything

Hello!

I suppose buggy/dirty CD-ROM drive which can't read outer tracks of CD. First CD of RHEL4 contains only a small part of distro, just ~160MB, second and other are full-size (>600MB).

Can you switch to text console (Ctrl-Alt-F1 to Ctrl-Alt-F5)? Are there any errors?
