DL380 G3 with either XP or 7
So I know that XP and 7 aren't supported but those are the only license I have left so they will have to do. Of course the problem that comes up is that the install can't find the drives. What exactly do I need to do to make them work. What specific driver do I need and because the driver comes out as an exe, what do I need to do to prepare it so that the OS install can see the driver and use it to see the logical drive.
Any help is appreciated, I have been looking for quite some time and have struck out.
Thanks

Re: DL380 G3 with either XP or 7
A world of pain :) one option might be to virtualise the os - but for example esxi4 is not supported - had you consider using linux - I have got this sort of working with XP but it is a real pain finding the right drivers and extracting them. Or just get a Server class OS (2000 or 2003) licence
Enjoy
