DL380 G3

On the system board there are a number of led lights flashing amber (cr44, cr47, etc). Located south of the second proc and east of the memory module. I am searching for some docs that would explain what each one means to no avail.

Re: DL380 G3

Hello,

The CR leds are not listed and changes with the Bios version. You will have to log a case with HP so they can send it on to engineering that has a list over these leds. They match the CRled-number against the bios version you have installed and will give you the correct brokn part. There is basically no point in guessing since it can be very costful. I have seen cases wheer users have changed, for example, sys brd, backplane, controller, dimms, cpu and it turned out to be the DVD. To be safe, call HP support and make sure you have FW/Drivers up to date if it still si possible to upgrade. Thank you
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary, is that little extra.
