I have a problem with DL380G4 server.
I have RAID 5 array (4 disks 72Gb 10k) with 2 logical drives on it.
When i am trying to copy something from logical drive 1 to logical drive 2 i receive transfer speed 10 bytes per second.
My operating system is Windows Server 2003 Standard.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Solutionwhat is your Controller?
you get the same speed no matter files size?
do you get the same speed coying files to another RAID level or another server or computer?
What is your PSP version(7.8, 7.9)?
what is your firmware version(7.8, 7.9)?
regards

Re: DL380 G4 - 4x72Gb 10k SCSI drives in RAID 5 very slow
>what is your Controller?
embedded SmartArray 6i controller without bbwc.
>you get the same speed no matter files size?
small files transfer very fast, bigger files start with normal speed then slows to 10bytes per second.
>do you get the same speed coying files to >another RAID level or another server or >computer?
Unfortunately i don have any RAID arrays near and computers too. This server in DMZ standalone.
>What is your PSP version(7.8, 7.9)?
7.8
>what is your firmware version(7.8, 7.9)?

also this issue has been all the time since you install the server or has been degarded?
