DL380 G4 and NT4
Hello,
I have a DL380 G4 and I'd like to install Windows NT4. Is there ANY way of doing this, as I notice NT4 is no longer supported.

Re: DL380 G4 and NT4
No,
There are no drivers available...
Also you will have problems with compaq agents since those doesn' support NT.
Management Agents are a vital compont for your server.
You will encounter problems for the RAID and Nic cards. You have to replace them witch NT legacy compontents but i doubt that the old hardware will funtion in the new server machine...
I'l give you mutch more succes installing NT on a Clone server machine than on a "high tech" HP ProLiant Server.
greetzzz

Re: DL380 G4 and NT4
Hi
You will run into so amny road blocks since there are no drivers available, RAID config can be done but the OS to recognise that might be an issue since smart start will not have driver for the raid controller.
I think you should consider going to the latest OS unless it is inevitable.
