2GB RAM
Just installed 2000 server via smartstart 7.20 (version 7.40 shipped but kept crashing?) and after 2000 installation finished, server reboots to blue screen.
Hardware Malfunction
NMI: Parity check/Memory Parity Error
The system has halted.
I took delivery of this 6 hours ago! Is it just a case of simply duff memory?
Thanks

Re: DL380 G4 memory issue?
Two months ago we received 6 ML370 G4 servers and we have this message on one server.
Replacing memory solved the problem.
Ask technician to replace all memory modules, it is good practice to have SAME memory DIMM's in the server.

Re: DL380 G4 memory issue?
The diagnostics run OK via smartstart so I guess I will swap the memory and go back to the supplier for replacement.
It came standard with 2GB so its not like I've added any dodgy RAM....
Thanks all, will post outcome later on.

Re: DL380 G4 memory issue?
They said the reason smartstart 7.40 was not working was due to the ROM version!
