DL380 G4 reboots

A server I am responsible for periodically reboots. There doesn't seem to be a pattern and happens anywhere from 1 to 4 times a day. In the event viewer I see this error:

System Information Agent: Health: The server is operational again. The server has previously been shutdown by the Automatic Server Recovery feature and has just become operational again.
[SNMP TRAP: 6025 in CPQHLTH.MIB]

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: DL380 G4 reboots

ASR is hitting you, it may be caused by different reasons.
The info you posted is enought to tell who is rebooting the server but no why, as a rule of thumb for this issue (experience), update ILO firware, and ILO driver.

ILO is the one that manages the server health

Re: DL380 G4 reboots

IML will tell why ASR is hitting if it is a overtemp issue or a common hardware error.

Re: DL380 G4 reboots

IML has lots of error messages! I see "ASR detected by system ROM" alot and a few
"Blue screen trap(bugcheck, stop 0x0000007f"
also "an unrecoverable system error has occured(error code 0x0287b12d"

Another message that is marked as critical is "Drive Array Device Failure(slot 0, bus2, bay 1)
