Re: DL380 G4, system board led NM light on amber
Clear NVRAM via System Maintenance Switch on the system board.
Last option, replace system board though skeptical if it would make a difference.

Re: DL380 G4, system board led NM light on amber
I have tried all of these steps my problem still persists, what are the chances of it being the motherboard itself and also how do you use the NVram switch as i have turned it on to clear but nothing happens

Re: DL380 G4, system board led NM light on amber
Hi,
the following post also seems to suggest the riser cage as a possible cause of issue:http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1349261
please award points if you found this helpful
regards

Re: DL380 G4, system board led NM light on amber
I had the same amber light on NM & eventually it was down to processot being not properly seated. So, this means either Riser or Processor can cause the same Amber light on NM.
