DL380 G4 write enabler - where does the battery attach?
Hi,
I'm putting a write enabler in a G4 but can't find anywhere obvious for the battery to sit securely in the case.
I think I'm missing something simple..
Thanks
Jeff

Beside floppy Drive on the right there should be Black Plastic Enclosure, and Small Cable goes from Array Accelerator to that plastic box, Remove riser to see Accelerator.

Re: DL380 G4 write enabler - where does the battery attach?
Hi,
The previous posts explain where to put the battery, but as you say it doesn't fit particularly securely in the case - unless I've been doing something wrong on the half dozen or so G4s that I've installed...
I played around for ages trying to find a little clip or something to stop the battery from rattling around, but came to the conclusion it was meant to be like that !
Cheers,
Rob
