DL380 G5 - Intel® Virtualization Technology Option

I've got a DL380 G5 Bi Xeon 3Ghz on which there is VMWare ESX. I want to know if it is necessary to activate Intel® Virtualization Technology option into the Bios to improve the performances? Thank you
