DL380 G5 - No agent messages at all

Hi all, I can't get no system messages from a DL380 G5.

For example: if I try to hot unplug a power supply no message appear in the event viewer.

I have tried to upgrade psp to version 8.00 with no result.

The only message I get are during reboot and are attached (I hope you ca see it, I'm not very familiar with this!)

You need to check that the SNMP traps are installed correctly under add/remove programs-->Windows Components because without this service the agents are not going to report anything!

SNMP is installed and configured in the same way it is on other 10 servers that works!

Any other idea?

In the attachment you can find another error that appear after restart. Bet I don't know if it is related...

several things

- pleas open you system management homepage and check of it is populated I mean if it is working

- go to control panel and open HP Insight managements agents icon and post a screenshot

- what about system ROM up to date.

- what about integrated management log is it reporting Power supply not fault tolerant? or not?

1. server is not in a cluster
2. if I try to send a test trap from the system insight manager page, it works!

everything looks good the only thing is that for your System management homepage you are using WBEM instead of SNMP, so you can go to seetings and select SNMP as source instead of WBEM.

I'm feeling a little "dummy" in this moment... where did you see I'm using WBEM instead of SNMP?
