Hi boys and girls.
I have a DL380 G5 with 5 drives on raid 5.
1 failed.
I replaced it.
that went to fail too.
thought it was doa so ordered replacement.
that went to fail too.
Am I looking at a replacement backplane or firmware problems?
Cheers :-)

Re: DL380 G5 Replacement drive shows failed too!!!!
hi,
It's possible that another drive has some read/write errors. Can You please attach an ACU report?
Thanks
regards,

Re: DL380 G5 Replacement drive shows failed too!!!!
I had the same issue on few servers(DL180G6 and DL360G7 servers), Even after replacing with the new drive for several times, it still showing as failed. Firmware upgrade didn't help
