I have a DL380 G5 and it came with 4 fans installed in front of the CPUs and a black plastic air baffle. Another unit I have has 8 fans and no baffle. Does one need a baffle with 8 fans?

Solution
Hi,
there are 2 different models - 6&12 fan(4/8 fron fan board + 2/4 ).
The 6-fan config is also N+1 redundant, so no need to worry .
